Welcome to Heber Elementary School District

It is my honor to serve as Superintendent of Heber Elementary School District — a community that holds a special place in my heart. I was born and raised in Brawley, the proud son of migrant farm working parents, who taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and giving back to our community. Those lessons shaped my commitment to education and public service, and they continue to guide me every day as I work alongside our incredible students, staff, and families.

As a product of the Imperial Valley and a lifelong learner, I earned my master’s degree and have spent my career in education serving as a teacher, principal, and district leader. Throughout my journey, one thing has remained constant — my belief that every child deserves a high-quality education and the opportunity to thrive, no matter their background.

In Heber, we are more than a school district — we are a family. Our teachers, staff, parents, and community partners work hand in hand to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential. Together, we are building a culture where academic excellence, social-emotional well-being, and strong community connections go hand in hand.

Outside of my role as Superintendent, I stay actively involved in our community, because I believe that strong schools and strong communities go together. I invite all families, community members, and local partners to join us in this important work — your voice and support matter, and together, we can shape a brighter future for Heber’s children.
