Holiday Message

Dear Heber Elementary School District Families,

As we approach the holiday break, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable achievements we’ve accomplished together as a community and to express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and partnership.

This year, we have made great strides in creating a more inclusive and collaborative school environment. The introduction of our Student Voice Council and Parent Voice Council has been a transformative addition. These councils, which began this year, have been very active in shaping our actions and programs, ensuring that our students’ and parents’ voices are at the heart of our decision-making. We are proud of their contributions and excited about the impact they continue to have.

November brought additional celebrations, including the passage of Measure H Bond, which will provide essential resources to improve and modernize our school facilities. We also congratulate our two re-elected Board Members, whose dedication to our district is invaluable.

The past two weeks have been filled with joy and pride as we celebrated numerous student events and Christmas performances. These moments of togetherness and celebration truly highlight the talent and spirit of our students, as well as the strong connections within our community.

As we look forward, we encourage all parents to remain engaged and informed. Your involvement is vital to the success of our students, and we deeply value the partnership we share in fostering their growth and achievements.

Please note that students will return to school on January 7, 2025. Until then, we hope you enjoy a safe and restful holiday season.

On behalf of the Heber Elementary School District, I wish you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, joy, and cherished memories. Thank you for being an integral part of our school family, and we look forward to building on this year’s successes in the new year.

Warmest holiday wishes,
Juan Cruz
