Welcome Parents! The HESD office is here to assist you with enrolling your child in school. Please read the information below to prepare everything you may need for a successful registration. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us using the information below.

WHO NEEDS TO ENROLL?

• Students who are attending school for the first time

• Students new to the district (they have recently moved into Heber boundaries or they were previously attending a private school, charter school or were home-schooled).

• Students who will continue attending HESD schools for the incoming school year.

 WHAT DO I NEED TO ENROLL?

All students (TK-8) must be registered by a parent/guardian and provide the required documents outlined below.

• Birth Certificate

• 2 proofs of residency such as utility bill, rental agreement, mortgage document, or a change of address confirmation from USPS

• Current immunization records

• TK/K only: Oral Health Form and Health Examination Form

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten (K)

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students are those who are 4 years old at the time of enrollment, and will turn 5 by April 2nd. Students who turn 5 from April 3 - May 2 will be placed on a waiting list.

Kindergarten students are 5 years old at the time of enrollment, or are expected to turn 5 by September 1st. Any student turning 5 after September 1st, will qualify for TK instead.

• TK: 5 years old between Sept. 02, 2023 - April 02, 2024
